Hi, my name is John Tambussi and I am the new English teaching assistant at Ratsgymnasium Münster. I am 23 years old and from Philadelphia Pennsylvania in the United States of America. I recently graduated from Dickinson college with a bachelor's degree in International business and management and a minor in political science. In college I played ice hockey, worked in the career center and study abroad office, was a global ambassador to Germany, and was a member of the student investment group. I also spent a semester abroad at the University of Bremen, where I continued my studies in international business.
I wanted to become an English teacher assistant because I wanted to help students improve their English skills and provide them with some new cultural perspectives. I also wanted to have a first-hand experience learning about the German culture and to be immersed in a new culture that I am learning more about every day. I want to give back to a country that has given so much to me through various experiences. After this great opportunity, I plan to find a career in either the business/finance realm or the law school route. I am so excited to have this opportunity and hope to have an impact on the school and, more importantly, the school has an impact on me.
